From A38 (East)
Leave A38 by slip road on LHS when you see Sainsbury's on LHS -
(On its roof it has a row of large white 'sails'!)
Follow signs for City Centre (A374)
After half mile, filter LEFT to underpass (B3214): This is 'Old Laira Road'.
After a mile continue under railway bridge, past garage on RHS and over a controlled
junction, where it becomes 'Alexandra Road'. Continue to next traffic lights:
at traffic lights turn very sharp LEFT up Greenbank Road (B3238) for 100 yds;
Pass Fire Station at top on left and continue past pedestrian controlled lights;
Immediately LEFT into Greenbank Terrace, before 'Maritime' Car Company;
Proceed past 'Maritime' Car Company on RHS and immediately 1st RIGHT into
Woodland Terrace Lane - which is cobbled, and looks like a rear service access.
'ODILS' is 30 yds on LHS. For Parking, see below.
From A38 (West) & A386 (North)
From Manadon intersection [See Note 2 lines below] ,follow signs for Mutley (B3250)
You should immediately pass a pub on LHS, and garage on RHS.
Note: The Manadon intersection is at the junction of A38 & A386, and the only one on the A38 'Park Way' that is on three levels.
Continue for a mile and a half, over all junctions. Watch for a pub - 'The Hyde Park' - on RHS on a roundabout which has traffic lights. This is the northern end of Mutley Plain, which is a short section
of dual carriageway.
Continue past Hyde Park junction for 400 yds to 2nd set of lights at southern end of Mutley Plain,
[This is a junction of 5 major roads] then bear 45 degrees LEFT up Greenbank Road (B3238)
Pass Fire Station at top on left and continue past pedestrian controlled lights;
Immediately LEFT into Greenbank Terrace, before passing 'Maritime' Car Company.
Proceed past 'Maritime' Car Company on RHS, immediately 1st RIGHT into Woodland Terrace Lane,
which is cobbled, and looks like a rear service access. 'ODILS' is 30 yds on LHS.

Car Parking
Limited parking is available in Woodland Terrace Lane (1st right off Greenbank Terrace), leading to ODILS entrance. Behind 'ODILS', in the next lane (2nd right) there is space for a few cars. There are also spaces in Greenbank Terrace; in other roads nearby, and metered parking off Mutley Plain, which includes the two-level Car Park over the railway line - but NOT recommended.
Getting to ODILS by bus, coach and train
Most
bus journeys in Plymouth start from, and terminate at Royal Parade, opposite the
Cathedral and Civic Centre. 150 yds from there, in an easterly direction, is the
City's coach station
